The Craft CTM Ultra Carbon Trail is based on the proven principles of a carbon racing shoe and takes this concept off-road into forests and mountains.
The foundation of the shoe consists of a curved carbon plate inside a substantial layer of cushioning with extremely high energy return. This combination will propel you into a rebound and demonstrably increase the efficiency of your run.
In the field, however, it's not just about dynamics. The ideal racing shoe must also offer grip and stability, and the CTM Ultra Carbon Trail certainly does not disappoint in this regard.
The sole is made of an aggressive pattern from the Vibram Megagrip compound, so you can rely 100% on the grip when running on stones and in mud. Megagrip by Vibram is the gold standard not only among trail shoes.
The stability is more than good for such a massive shoe. The midsole with a thickness of 40 millimeters maximizes the potential for energy return, and thanks to the carbon plate, full-length outsole, and sturdy upper, it won't disappoint even in more technical sections. CTM Ultra Carbon Trail is not a shoe designed for Skyrunning and other extremely technical running disciplines. In the context of trail running in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the Ultra Carbon Trail is excellently usable on almost any course. The more fast-paced and quicker the race is, the more you will take advantage of the benefits of this shoe.
The upper is made of durable and strong fabric that holds the foot firmly in place and easily withstands the challenges of the trail. Additional support is provided to the upper by a rubber toe cap and a TPU rand around the entire perimeter of the shoe.
