The Vento vest is a garment that can satisfy the needs of very demanding customers with its ergonomics, weight and technology. A versatile garment that can be used over a jersey to improve its thermal protection. The outer part is in Dot Air Light design to ensure protection from wind and transpiration. The front is made with a special Dot Sandwich structure that combines Dot Air Light fabric on the outside for wind protection with exclusive Polartec® Alpha® fabric on the inside. Polartec® Alpha® is a fabric developed in collaboration with the US Special Forces that delivers high performance in terms of breathability, thermal protection and fast drying. The two fabrics thus constructed represent a new concept of "active protection" of the garment, i.e. maximum control of the ratio of thermal protection and wicking of body moisture, thus avoiding the "shivering" effect during descents or less active phases. In addition, Polartec® Alpha®, as a wadding with a special mesh structure, is used in a "straight" way without lining, which ensures the lightness and compressibility of the garment. Polartec® fabrics guarantee the performance for which they were made for the lifetime of the garment. Thanks to its characteristics, the Vento vest falls into the category of "long season", i.e. garments developed for medium-term climatic conditions. The combination with more or less warm interlayers extends the use time, making it suitable even for very harsh climatic conditions.
