With the Contour RS (reduced size) goggles, you won't miss any detail on the slopes thanks to the new toric lenses with Vivid technology, which we developed in collaboration with Zeiss Optics. In the package, you will find two lenses (one for poor visibility), which you can swap in a matter of seconds according to the current weather, thanks to the unique magnetic attachment system. Triple foam with microfleece provides all-day comfort. The Evak technology ensures the ventilation of the interior space to prevent fogging.

VIVID is a patented technology developed by the Giro brand in collaboration with ZEISS Optics. VIVID significantly enhances the visual experience of moving on snow by improving contrast and sharpness – you'll see clearly, without excessive color saturation. VIVID reduces eye fatigue, improves reaction time, and boosts confidence.

HOW DOES VIVID WORK?
The VIVID technology was developed by the Giro brand in collaboration with the global leader in optics – ZEISS Optics. Standard ski goggles completely block so-called blue light. It was long believed that blue light equals bad light for seeing in the snow. But there is one problem: snow is not white. As the most reflective surface on the planet, snow is actually blue. Our research has shown that blue light is important for proper vision and reading terrain covered with snow. The VIVID technology allows a portion of blue light to pass through, which increases contrast, while simultaneously blocking harmful UV radiation. VIVID essentially filters out the "glare haze" and your eyes will see the exact three-dimensional terrain in front of you: bumps, mounds, ice patches, piled-up or deep snow.
