It was long believed that blue light equals bad light for seeing in the snow. But there is one problem: snow is not white. As the most reflective surface on the planet, snow is actually blue. The VIVID technology allows a portion of blue light to pass through, which increases contrast, while simultaneously blocking harmful UV radiation.
