The Neo JR offers similar benefits to the adult version: a lightweight In Mold shell construction along with a perfect fit on the head with the In Form clamping system, which is easily tightened with a wheel. And if the kids' heads get too hot during the super-quick ride down? Just cool them down with the Thermostat Control stepless ventilation control - you won't even have to take off your gloves. Select colors are available with MIPS technology, which offers increased protection of the brain from rotational forces.

aDVANCES IN SKI HELMET DEVELOPMENT
all Giro helmets are designed to absorb as much energy as possible on impact and meet the current European standard: EN 1077. The aim of the new MIPS technology is to eliminate the rotational forces that act on the head in the event of a fall and subsequent impact on the slope. When impacted at any angle, the MIPS system allows the EPS shell of the helmet to rotate independently around the head. Although this movement is only on the order of a few millimeters, we believe that MIPS technology significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that might otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
wHAT IS MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) and how does it work?
mIPS is a slippery liner between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner liners. In the event of an angled impact, the EPS shell of the helmet will roll a few millimetres over the MIPS layer, protecting the head and brain from the violent rotational jerk.
