You're looking at a purebred all-rounder, among cross shoes. An amphibian that can handle the rigours of the trail as well as longer stretches of tarmac. This is primarily due to the sophisticated shallow tread outsole combining three different hard rubber compounds for an optimal combination of grip and durability. The TRAIL TALON 235 is specific for its great feel for the terrain while maintaining surprisingly comfortable damping.

On the feet, the 235 feels like an incredibly comfortable shoe, but once you hit the trail, you'll find that you can rely on this shoe for foot protection and stability thanks to the newly redesigned upper.

Unlike its more robust sibling, the TRAIL TALON 290, the 235 is the ideal shoe for more experienced runners with a midfoot stride technique and for those who prefer a reduced layer of cushioning with good proprioception and a great feel for the terrain. This corresponds to a drop of 4 mm in addition to the lower damping layer.

In addition to the new colour variant, the major new feature for 2020 is a completely redesigned upper. It still has a width of 4 (Standard fit), but is now made of much stronger and more durable fabric and the number of TPU reinforcements stabilizing the ankle has increased. Thanks to these changes, the TRAIL TALON 235 sits as well on the foot as its predecessor, but its trail performance is closer to the legendary RACE ULTRA 270.
