And that's where the X-TALON ULTRA 260 comes in. The outsole is based on the iconic aggressive X-TALON 225 grip, except the cleats have a larger surface area to handle more load.

The height of the plugs is a respectable 8 mm, so the X-TALON ULTRA 260 will get you out of even the thickest mud or deep, slushy snow without hesitation. The outer part of the sole has a harder compound for perfect grip in mud and snow, while the inner part has a soft contact rubber with excellent grip on stones and rocks.

The POWERFLOW midsole has an 8 mm drop and is composed of two parts. The heel section has a softer compound and offers a 10% higher level of cushioning, the front section has a higher density, so it is slightly harder and offers a more accurate and effective rebound. The protective polymer ring of the DFB follows the shape of the plantar fascia and slightly aids rebound (spring effect) in an efficient running style.

The upper is made of extremely durable ballistic nylon with a waterproof coating. This material ensures that the shape of the upper remains unchanged even in the event of total wetness. The seamless upper offers great comfort. Triple reinforced toe protects your fingers from kicking any obstacle. The upper is extremely rigid, which understandably reduces the breathability of the shoe.

The soft abutment is sensitive to heels and achilles and in case of heel protrusions it can be easily activated and customized to such deformed feet by heating.
