We have combined the benefits of the previous 2 models into the new ALL TERRAIN GAITER. The higher sock knit can be comfortably slipped onto any shin, nothing presses anywhere, it doesn't bunch up, snow and other debris can't get inside. The ankle part of the sleeve is made of waterproof fabric, which is further treated with a DWR coating. This is not a membrane; the primary task of this part of the cover is to prevent dirt and snow from entering the shoe. Two loops on the sides and one loop on the front are designed to attach the cover directly to selected inov-8 shoes. To secure the cover on the spiked footwear, the package includes a thicker silicone band that is threaded under the heel of the shoe. It is important to thread the elastic outside the shoe's grip pattern.
