Description RACE FACE handlebars ERA 10mm RISER 35x760 carbon/gray
Race Face announces a new era with these handlebars – literally. A lot of work has been invested in the development of these carbon handlebars, with special attention given to the balanced ratio between flexibility and stiffness. The principle guiding the design of the handlebars is called GL tuning (Goldilocks Tune) – that is, the perfect tuning of vertical compliance. In short: most handlebars today are around 800 mm wide and can be shortened to suit both the rider and the bike. However, this changes the properties of the handlebars – stiffness increases and flexibility decreases. For example, shortening from 800 to 760 mm decreases flexibility by approximately 24%, which can lead to hand and forearm fatigue (so-called. arm pump). To achieve the best GL tuning, Race Face offers the Era handlebars in 760, 780, and 800 mm options. In combination with lift heights of 10, 20, and 40 mm, everyone will find what suits them! The Era handlebars consist of a total of 96 layers of carbon, with each width corresponding to a specific layer arrangement to achieve the ideal combination of stiffness and flexibility. The clamping area of the stem has been narrowed to 60 mm, allowing for early rise and rapid tapering of the diameter. The Race Face Era handlebars now offer you the best possible balance!
