This achieved a carefully tuned Goldilocks (GL) tuning, ensuring optimal compliance and comfort. GL tuning represents the balance preferred by most riders – the stiffer version was too hard, while the softer one was too flexible. While shortening handlebars usually increases their stiffness and reduces comfort, Race Face has decided to offer six variants of aluminum handlebars with different widths and rise heights, all tuned with GL tuning to minimize fatigue. Through precise aluminum processing, it was possible to optimize the flex profile of each variant of the Turbine handlebars.
