The Transition is a model designed for aggressive enduro and downhill riding.highly durable construction with increased ankle protection on the inside with D3O protection. Designed for SPD pedals. Rider protection is a priority here. Reinforced toe and heel is a matter of course. What you won't find in the competition is the increased protection of the inner ankle wall with integrated D3O protector. Ride Concepts is the only manufacturer to use D3O technology across multiple models. Everyone knows D3O from the bike protectors (Race Face, Bluegrass...) The inner liner has integrated D3O protectors in the heel and toe area to protect against impacts or missed double and subsequent heel stepping. The foot is less tired and prone to wear and tear thanks to D3O. The construction of the shoe uses almost no seams , everything is thoroughly welded. The reason for this is resistance to damage and water penetration. Tightening with non-slip laces with one Velcro fastening at the top of the shoe.
