The special construction of the knit and cut allows this thermal underwear to be used reversibly, each side offering different thermal properties. The side of the shirt marked as "plus" has a surface made of micropolyester silk, which is chosen as the inner side, or "against the body," in warmer conditions. The side of the T-shirt labeled as "minus" is made of micro-polyester fiber and is chosen as the inner side when used in cooler temperatures. The thermal resistance difference between both sides was measured in the laboratory to be 3.6°C.
