Headlamp SILVA Free 900 XXS XXS

Free 900 XXS is the latest addition to the modular range of SILVA Free flashlights. This 900-lumen headlamp is equipped with a lightweight elastic headband, with an integrated textile-braided cable that is long enough to store the battery in a running vest, backpack, waist pack, or in winter, under clothing for warmth. The elastic headband with a cable and a reflector with a light output of 900 lm has a weight of 98g, which is ideal for running activities, the total weight of Free 900 XXS incl. The battery 11.1Wh is 195g. Silva Free Modular Flashlight System allows for the free combination of individual components, with headlights offering outputs of 900, 1200, 2000, and 3000 lumens, and 5 variants of rechargeable batteries: 11.1Wh XXS, 14.4Wh XS, 24.1Wh S, 36Wh M, and 72Wh L. The headlights are equipped with Silva Intelligent Light technology for even light distribution both in distance and to the sides, and the more powerful 2000 and 3000 lm, thanks to Silva Flow Light technology, allow the shape of the light beam to be adjusted by tilting the headlight. The independently supplied Free Helmet Mount 38230 set allows attachment to a helmet, the Free GoPro Mount 38290 set lets you attach the spotlight to GoPro camera mounts, and with the Free Bar Mount 38229 set, you can attach the spotlight with a battery to a bicycle. Free headlamps are designed for various activities, allowing you to choose the reflector's power and battery capacity, as well as an elastic headband with an integrated rear red light 38284, or an ultralight version for running 38540. The light output is regulated by the built-in temperature sensor according to the surface temperature of the reflector.If the cooling is not sufficient, e.g. during static activities, indoors or at high temperatures, the light output will be automatically reduced until an acceptable surface temperature on the body of the spotlight is reached. This mainly applies to more powerful spotlights of 2000 and 3000 lm. Once the battery capacity drops to 10% of its initial value, the spotlight will blink during operation and switch to reserve mode, which has a power of 80lm and provides approximately 1 hour of operation. The headlamps Free 1200, 2000, and 3000, including accessories, withstand water jets from all angles - water resistance IPX5. Silva received the ISPO Award 2023 for technological innovation for the modular Free lighting system.

* The technical parameters of Silva headlamps are measured according to the ANSI FL1 standard. Battery life is defined as the time until the light output drops to 10% of the initial value measured 30 seconds after turning on, it is not the time of complete discharge, after which the headlamp switches to reserve mode. Battery life is affected by ambient temperature and the type of activity, e.g. while running or cycling, the headlamp is better cooled, but sub-zero temperatures, on the other hand, reduce the battery capacity. The range is defined as the distance at which the light intensity drops to a value of 0.25 lux. This is approximately the intensity of illumination created by the full moon on a clear sky.
