Stay Guard is a low-profile replacement guard that uses a very soft silicone rubber with a tapered rib design to absorb chain shock and associated noise. Works great on its own or in conjunction with our shock absorbers for the ultimate quiet ride! 400 mm length x 56 mm width x 12 mm height Easy to install and compatible with most frames. Long enough to cover the top of the chainstay, part of the seatstay and even part of the bottom of the chainstay. The tapered rib design flexes and absorbs impact forces and noise from the chain. Can be used alone or in conjunction with our damping modules for a perfect ride without chain slap. It uses high quality 3M adhesive - if your heel rubs against the chainstay when pedalling, we recommend adding a few tightening strips in this area, otherwise the pad may start to lift over time.
