ULTIMATE F1 is a great new product from NVII for the 2022 season. The basic upper material is a very durable, stable, non-absorbent and breathable material from the renowned American manufacturer Supefabric, which is also reinforced with synthetic framing and shoulder stabilizers. The inner arch is further reinforced with Kevlar to protect the feet from being punctured by branches or sharp stones. The sock construction of the upper eliminates blisters from the classic tufted tongue and significantly increases comfort inside the shoe. The instep part of the upper is lined with perforated neoprene, which also contributes to increased comfort in the instep part of the shoe.
The 6mm midsole is designed to offer sufficient comfort in the heel for long runs, the midsole is reinforced to protect the plantar fascia from overloading and the forefoot is optimised for maximum flexibility and proprioception. In the front part of the midsole, a polymer part is inserted to prevent spikes from penetrating the shoe bed (spike protector).
The outsole has 9 carbide studs in 3 logical lines in the forefoot and thanks to this solution offers fantastic rebound management. In the middle part there are 2 spikes for safety in jumping over trees and other obstacles, in the heel part there are another 4 stabilizing spikes. On the entire surface of the sole you will find 15 spikes and the height of all spikes is 6.5mm. The outsole compound is the well-known butyl rubber with excellent durability and great contat parameters.
