Carbon racing shoes have been a widespread phenomenon in recent months. But Craft takes the whole concept even a level higher and opens up this uncompromising category to a group of runners who could only envy track and road racers until now. All carbon racing shoes are characterized by their extremely low durability and "fragility". They are thus used exclusively in the ideal conditions of road and track racing. But what if you could also use the advantages of carbon in training and off the tartan and roads? And that's exactly what our new CRAFT CTM ULTRA CARBON is all about.

We don't want to copy and go with the crowd. Our mission is innovation and we are driven forward by an unlimited imagination. That's why we asked ourselves whether the proven benefits of carbon shoes could be transferred off the road to give runners a tool that maximizes their performance on all surfaces and lasts longer than just a few dozen miles.

In the beginning there was an idea, followed by months of development and now you are looking at the result. The first universally tuned carbon racing shoe designed for road and light off-road use that won't lose its great features even after a few hundred kilometres. You'd be hard pressed to find a more versatile shoe with comparable functionality.

The cornerstone on which the CTM ULTRA CARBON is based is a carbon plate with a unique split in the thumb area. This makes the shoe perfectly stiff and dynamic in the transition to rebound, while allowing you to use the natural toe work and transverse arches to stabilize the foot. Even in light terrain, you can run at maximum speed without losing stability.

The carbon plate is complemented by 33 millimetres of Fast Forward cushioning foam with excellent softness and energy return. This is complemented by an Ultra Rebound insole with high-energy TPU foam for an even faster transition to rebound.

The upper is minimalist and inspired by athletic trainers. In practice, this means that despite its high breathability and low weight, it perfectly hugs the foot and keeps the foot firmly anchored inside the shoe. The shape of the upper is slightly wider than most performance shoes, so you can forget about blisters and blisters even on very long runs.
