As is customary with the Wolf Tooth brand, it is not an Asian production, but a comprehensively thought-out component. Everything is designed, processed, and manufactured in Minnesota, USA. The pedal body is machined on CNC machines from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and complemented with axles made of 17-4 PH stainless steel. A welcome option is the offer of two different sizes, which should satisfy both the rider with a smaller foot and the tall person who uses children's skis instead of boots! In fact, it refers to the Small size with a pedal area of 105 x 99 mm and a weight of 373 g/pair. The larger version, Large, offers a surface area of 112 x 106 mm and a weight of 384 g/pair. The contact surface of the pedal is not purely flat, but uses a dual concave profile for proper foot placement, meaning it has a spatially thinning profile from the outer edges towards the center. The pedal thickness at the narrowest central point is only 12.5 mm, while at the edges it is 14 mm.A secure connection between the pedal and the sole is ensured by a set of 11 stainless steel pins on each side of the pedal. They are screwed from the opposite side, so there is no problem with their replacement. The package includes 6 extra pins, just in case. The pedals are equipped with a trio of high-quality, fully sealed bearings, which are additionally protected on the outside by a specifically designed radial seal.
