After years of data collection and feedback from our World Cup downhill and enduro racers, the Shorty is all-new for 2021. The lug pattern has been changed to improve wet traction, cornering performance and mud shedding ability. A narrower 2.40" tire improves frame and fork clearance when things get really hairy, and reduces weight.

The Maxxis High Roller II uses an open and aggressive tread pattern that is designed to provide traction when the trail surface is loose. A large channel between the center and side tips provides the looser, driftier feel that some riders desire.

The Maxxis Aspen is one of our leading XC race tyres. The low centre tread height allows the Aspen to roll quickly, but the pronounced - for XC - side knobs provide traction in the corners.
