New for the 2020 season is a great studless cross-country shoe with increased midsole comfort and more width in the front. The basic upper material is a very durable, stable, non-absorbent and breathable material from the renowned American manufacturer Supefabric. The perimeter of the front of the shoe is reinforced with a synthetic cast that helps stabilize the feet in the front of the shoe in heavier and more technical terrain. The inner arch is reinforced with a rubber part (ProtectOR) to protect this sensitive part of the foot from being hit by branches or stones. This reinforcement is brought up to the lacing and at the same time helps to fix the feet securely and effectively in the shoe. The tight lacing is supported by an ergonomically shaped tongue that does not cut into the hamstrings and significantly increases comfort in the shoe. The TPU midsole with a 6mm incline in the heel is designed to offer enough comfort for long runs, it is the most comfortable model from the NVII range for long runs in the field. The sole is developed to offer the best possible grip in different forest environments. Soft forest paths, terrain, but also longer runs on harder roads. The unique design of the plugs is based on 2 basic levels. On the first level, there are 5.5mm high plugs to ensure contact in deep mud. The second plane is followed by a grid of 4.5mm high plugs that support contact on a firmer substrate. The outsole compound is the well-known butyl rubber with excellent durability and great contat parameters. Also included are replacement insoles that are optimized for the race.
