Newly redesigned version of one of the most versatile trail shoes.
The ROCLITE concept has gained a huge number of supporters in recent years due to its reliability and grip in technical terrain and its ability to handle longer sections on paved roads. The most successful model from this family became the ROCLITE G 275, which has now received a newly redesigned and improved version.
The base of the shoe remains the same. A finely tuned outsole with 6 mm high lugs that dig into mud and rocks and hold firm even on steep descents. The contact surface of the studs is sufficiently large to prevent the tread from twisting when running on hard surfaces and to maintain grip on asphalt or stones. Thanks to the presence of graphene, you can expect an uncompromising balance between grip and durability.
The cushioning layer retains the proven geometry with an 8 mm drop and 16 mm of material under the heel. However, a change has occurred with the foam, where you will now find POWERFLOW MAX. High-energy foam with excellent comfort and dynamics. A simple change of material elevates the comfort and speed of the ROCLITE 275 to an entirely new level.
You will find significant changes on the upper. It still has a medium width (3), but the cut, materials, and reinforcements have been completely redesigned. The new ROCLITE is snug and firm around the instep to support you even in technically challenging terrain, while providing much more space for the transverse arch and toes than ever before. External stabilization of the heel and ankle ensures maximum control and stability. The fingers are protected by a double rubber rand, and the overall durability of the upper is complemented by a new sturdy mesh.
The basic elements of the shoe thus remain very similar to what you might have been accustomed to with the ROCLITE. Changes in cushioning and the upper then elevate the comfort, dynamics, and durability of the shoe to a much higher level.
